Technology has always been at the crossroads, promising prosperity and good life to mankind as well as threatening it with apocalyptic disasters. After all, technology is what humans make of it. The bomb and the bread both are products of technology.

With the summers behind and rain splashing us all over, Techtonix presents you the Summer Special Issue that brings together a trinity of technology, terrorism and love. Added are the doses of trivia and some not so known truths about Google trained MBAs which makes the issue a real treat for its readers.

India saw a lot of activity in the IT domain with the 3G auctions promising to bring in much cheer to the consumers. But do the benefits flows only to those who are already served by technology or can it make a meaningful impact on the hitherto uncared part of India sometimes called as Bharat?

Terrorists are increasingly turning more and more sophisticated in their use of technology. The increasing power and ubiquity of internet is all the more reason to prevent it from going into the hands of those misguided zealots. The confrontation between the governments and terrorists has already moved to the virtual domain.
